Does this surprise anyone?

I know of people who have severe milk allergies and can’t toucha drop of pasturized homogenized milk because they get very ill.  Give the same person a glass of raw milk and absolutely no problems.

It makes me wonder why we even do this anymore?  These two techniques we invesnted before any type of refrigeration and perhaps they were necessary then.  But with modern refrigeration, why do we do this anymore?

Seriously, milk is refrigerated the second it is milked until the minute it is consumed. 100 years ago, the milk wasn’t refrigerated at all.  Perhaps it was stored in a cold room somewhere or put in a stream or river to keep cool.  Killing bacteria was necessary to keep people from getting sick.

But now, why do they still do this?
